Integrating Voice to Text recognition into a software package that
will allow subtitles to be brought to lectures and broadcasts where they were
missing.
The use of Voice to Text recognition in subtitling would make several aspects of the process a lot easier. The advantages of doing this are: reducing the cost of subtitling (by reducing the man hours spent thereon), increasing the amount of films, television broadcasts, lectures and tutorials that have subtitles on them and generally making the whole task more portable, less complicated and easier to attempt or undertake.
