Davide Ferrazzi
He took the degree (master) in Information Sciences at the University of
Milan in October 2000. His thesis has been based on the research done as stagiaire
at the European Commission Joint Research Centre, Ispra site, within the VOICE
project (--> http://voice.jrc.it ).
From October 2000 to November 2001 he has been project manager for the
Milan Community Network Foundation of the project, founded by the Province
of Milan, for developing a portal for no-profit bodies ( www.associazioni.milano.it ).
From November 2001 to September 2003 he had a research position at the
University of Milan, Department of Science of Information, Community
Informatics Lab, within the TruEVote Project (A Secure and Trustable
Internet Voting System based on PKI - www.true-vote.net ) where he
worked on the demonstration in the framework of Milan Community Network,
focusing in particular on user requirements, user trust and their involvements
in e-voting experiences.
From September 2003 he teachs Informatics at Primary School (Scuola
Media Manzoni) in Milan in order to support also children affected
by dislexya and is involved in several projects within the Milan
Community Network Foundation in the Association's framework.
Community networks as a tool to support and connect people with
disabilityes and associations: the relationship with the Associations
of hearing impaired youth and the VOICE Forum.
